"My Date Collected the Food He Bought for Me After I Refused to Go Home with Him"

A Nigerian lady recently shared her surprising and somewhat hilarious encounter during a first date with a man.

According to her, the man took her to a restaurant where he ordered food for her. While they were chatting and she was still eating her food, the man casually asked what their plans were after the date. She responded that she was heading straight home alone.

He then directly asked if she would follow him to his house. When she politely declined, explaining that they had just met for the first time and she wasn't comfortable with that, he didn't push further on that point.

Not giving up, he switched tactics and requested to follow her to her own home instead. He suggested they could continue talking there, and even added that he could sl33p over so they'd have more time together. Once again, she firmly refused, repeating her reason that it was too soon since it was their first meeting.

Surprisingly, he accepted her no without much argument and simply said okay. However, right after that, he called the waitress over and instructed her to pack up the remaining food which happened to be the lady's unfinished meal.

The waitress appeared confused, but the lady had no choice but to hand over her plate. Once the food was neatly bagged and returned to the table, the man quickly snatched the takeaway bag from the waitress.

Instead of getting upset or causing a scene, the lady found the whole situation so absurd and petty that she burst out laughing. She couldn't even bring herself to feel 4ngry about it.

In the end, she simply left the restaurant and went home, grateful that she already had food waiting for her there. He didn't even offer to drop her off or say much else he just walked away with her packed meal.
