IKIRE YOUTHS ENDORSE ASIWAJU MUNIRUDEEN BOLA OYEBAMIJI, ORGANIZE STREET AWARENESS.

In a show of unity and political consciousness, youths of Ikire under the umbrella of the Central Council of Ikire Youth Groups have officially endorsed Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), through a well-coordinated street awareness campaign.

The awareness procession commenced from Naira and Kobo, moved through Obada Market and Oja-Ale, and extended across major strategic locations within Ikire. The aim was to sensitize residents on the importance of supporting AMBO’s emergence as the next Governor of Osun State, while also mobilizing grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming election.

Comrade Murithador Agbaje while addressing the youths outlined reasons why everyone must contribute to the AMBO's cause, part of which are, youth development, infrastructural development and numerous goodies.

As part of the engagement, the movement paid a courtesy visit to the residence of Dr. Peter Babalola, a respected stakeholder in the community. He warmly received the youths and commended their initiative, urging them to intensify their efforts as the election draws closer. Emphasizing the pivotal role of young people in nation-building, he described them as the backbone and future of society.

Reaffirming his unwavering support for Asiwaju Oyebamiji, Dr. Babalola stated: “I have nursed the ambition to become Governor of Osun State for over 25 years. Therefore, as AMBO is contesting, it feels as though I am the one in the race.” He further stressed the need for inclusiveness in the movement, encouraging the youths to carry everyone along in their mobilization drive.

The Central Council of Ikire Youth Groups, under the leadership of Comrade Murithador Agbaje, also reiterated their unflinching support for AMBO, describing him as a true son of the soil and the most capable hand to manage the affairs of Osun State.

The street awareness campaign drew participation from various youth groups, dignitaries, and key stakeholders across Ikire, reflecting the wide acceptance of AMBO’s vision as expected, and the growing confidence in his leadership among the people.
