FG Declares May 29 And June 12 As Public Holidays

The federal government of Nigeria has declared
Wednesday, May 29 and June 12, as
public holidays to mark the inauguration
of President Muhammadu Buhari and
Democracy Day respectively.

This was announced on Monday, May 20, by
Nigeria's minister of information, Alhaji Lai
Mohammed, in a press conference ahead of
the inauguration of the second term in
office of President Buhari.
All those who want to be invited for the
PresidentialInauguration will be invited for
June 12 Democracy Day. - Alhaji Lai
Mohammed, Honourable Minister of
Information.
Both May 29th and June 12th have been
declared as public holidays.
